Chutney 2.0

There is a lot of talk about Web 2.0 at the moment. People in the mobile community have now started banging on about Mobile Web 2.0 and what that means. Podcasts are rammed with people droning on and on and on about essentially, bugger all. In fact the only point of it all this is to generate more book sales and conference invites for someone.

Meanwhile the two problems for the Mobile Web 1.0 remain:

1. It doesn't work - mostly.
2. No one knows it's there.

Solve these are we are rocking.

As for people droning on at speaking events, the only thing to do is to follow Spug's first law of conferences:

1. Sit at the back with your coat on.

If you follow this you can always slip out for a pint, or as I did once at a Brighton conference; go buy an ice cream, silly glasses and rent a deck chair.
